Snowboarding at Hoodoo

Last Sunday we went finally up the snowy mountains to snowboard. It was a nice springy day, just wished they had more fresh snow. No powder snow just only groomed snow. We went to Berg's ski shop and rented Ashley her snowboard. She was SO excited to go. Last year I rented ski's and worked on her with skiing but this year we decided to teach her what both John and I are doing. Which worked out nice since we could take turns teaching her while the other went down on more advanced runs (like black runs). We also had some friends came along and went snowboarding too, their first time with snowboards. They are advanced skiers so it was kinda tough for them to start at the bunny hill again. Our day was great and Ashley was getting it down faster than we thought she'd do. She wants to go back this year, which we will, once they get more fresh snow. We had some friends watch Hannah during the whole day and she did great too. Hannah say's she wants to go next year. I guess we will see with that, she doesn't like to be out too long in the snow at home. Just thought to share our adventure up the snowy mountains.
